Recently I've become increasingly frustrated with the Metrobus.  Maybe it's because I've been taking it more often or that I've been traveling at somewhat abnormal times.  Whatever it is, the bus has been pretty off its game in my past few weeks of riding it.

The NextBus service has been messing up far more for me too, occasionally giving me the wrong estimated times of arrivals and just not working very well.  

I called NextBus today, filmed it, and captured a pretty absurd action.  See what happened in the video above.

From Monica Hernandez: The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announced it will implement a new program designed to improve access for persons with disabilities to businesses and services in the commercial areas of the District.  Starting later this month the District will provide reserved metered parking spaces for persons with disabilities at distinctive “red top” meters.  This new program sets aside curbside parking spaces for the exclusive use by persons with disabilities and eliminates the free parking in metered spaces that has become a prime incentive behind the fraudulent use of disabled parking placards and license plates.
