Shop at the Dupont Farmers Market Year Round!

Just because summer is coming to an end doesn't mean you won't be able to find fresh fruits and vegetables in DC until next year.  The Dupont Circle Farmers market runs all year long, every Sunday.  Through the end of the calendar year, the Dupont market will be open from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M., and then, from January through March 2011, it will begin an hour later, and be open from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M..

Some of the featured vendors at the market include:

  • Atwater's Bakery
  • Cedarbrook Farm
  • Endless Summer Harvest
  • Red Apron Butcher Shop
  • And Next Step Produce

The market is right next to the Dupont Circle Metro stop on the 1500 block of 20th Street, between Massachusetts Avenue and Q Street.

More Road Work for 18th Street Reconstruction Project

More construction in Dupont? Yup.

The community's latest renovations have begun on 18th Street between P Street, NW and New Hampshire Avenue, NW.  The road work is part of the 18th Street Reconstruction project to better serve pedestrians and public transportation throughout the neighborhood.

This 18th Street construction is just the latest in a series of upgrades that the District Department of Transportation has ordered for the area.  The project includes:

  • Street and sidewalk reconstruction

  • Traffic signal and streetlight upgrades

  • New crosswalks, bulb-outs and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) safety upgrades

  • Landscape and streetscape improvements

This is a multi-phase project, so stay tuned for more information.
