No Peeing Zone For Dogs | Pets
Owners cleaning up after their dog in public spaces is one neighborhood issue that has never gone away, nor will ever go away.
This, though, is somewhat different.
The sign featured above has been placed in a couple of flower patches on P Street in Northwest, just off of Dupont Circle near the Whole Foods.
The sign proclaims the flower patches as a "NO POOPING, NO PEEING Zone" for canines.
I understand the first part, but the second is a bit much for me. No urinating allowed for dogs? This seems a bit extreme.
On a side note, what is going on with the images on the sign? A little graphic for my liking. Additionally, I wonder what the punishment for disobeying this edict could possibly be.
How do you feel about this issue?
