Former D.C. Mayor Fenty To Join Law Firm

Former D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty has a new gig.

Fenty, who served as Mayor for one term before being defeated by Vincent Gray this past fall, is joining the plaintiffs’ trial and litigation firm, Klores Perry Mitchell, P.C. (KPM) as special counsel, according to the firm.

“We are honored to have Mayor Fenty join us,” Bruce J. Klores, founding partner of Klores Perry Mitchell, said in a press release. “His successful Mayoral ‘reformer approach’ used to streamline the D.C. government and make it more responsive to residents will be a great asset to the firm. This innovative approach to law, combined with his strategic thinking and sound business judgment, will compliment the firm’s focus on efficiency and attention to client needs.”

“KPM’s commitment to advocating on behalf of their clients, combined with their emphasis on winning – not billing – was of great interest to me,” Fenty said in the same press release. “The firm is also dedicated to values I believe are extremely important -- fostering a high quality of life for its employees and for those who live in the Washington, D.C. area.”

KPM’s D.C. office is located in Downtown on 20th Street.
