WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The founder of Washington's bounce beat sound, TCB has passed away. 

Reggie "Polo" Burwell's manager confirmed his death today to WUSA9. He passed away this morning at St. Thomas More nursing home in Hyattsville, Maryland.

Polo collapsed at a show in April 2010. His condition got worse over time and he complained about headaches. He suffered a massive brain hemorrhage and went into a coma.
