Dupont Circle Panera Bread Has Coded Security Locks on Bathrooms

The new Panera Bread in Dupont Circle has coded security locks on its bathroom doors.  To enter the bathroom, one must get the code from a Panera employee.  Manager Eden Wadsworth said that Panera does this to ensure only paying customers use the bathrooms, but when I asked for the bathroom code the cashier gave it to me without asking for any proof of purchase (I did buy something by the way...especially after the heat I took for my 7-Eleven story).
